  1. Well.. I cleaned up the head, lapped the valves and leak tested them whilst @davecarasorted the carbs, cheers mate. It leaked like a sieve. So I pulled another head of the shelf, grubby as hell put it held fuel, I was just about to start stripping it when I forgot, like most, I have another head, a ported freshly blasted and decoked one at that. Bitchin. Quick spin over to my friends, turned out he'd completed the job 2 months ago and I'd just forgot about it. Winning. Back home, lapped some valves in, leak test and it's a winner. Mint. My dad's been bugging me lately to just throw everything iv got at this bike. So, iv removed the rods pistons and block from my other build for this, all the parts have been kept into the original 1100 Crank and cases, their life may be short lived at this rate. Lucky I did as I found this little beauty-replaced. I had a call from Dave Dunlop of FBM fame to discuss the time line of my other build, basically I have decided to swop the work that's been paid for on the Z to upgrade the wheelie bike. And boyyyyy do I mean upgrades.... A Garrett GTX3076R Intercooled kit. Super excited for this. I Took Monday and Tuesday off work to crack on.
  2. Stopped for dinner. Proper mums Sunday dinner. Umm
  3. Cases double washed as I plan to paint it this time. Rebuild
  4. Got bored No damage. Clean cases and turn all ratchets to tighten mode
  5. Clean and strip day. Love coming mums house. Always get fed well.
  6. @zedheadfor legal reasons I must state that this photo is years old and Jessica has in no way breached the terms of her contract in any form by working on any suspension outside of working hours for any third parties. Seriously...
  7. The chassis is now complete and awaits a stripped, rebuilt and painted engine
  8. So the past few weeks here and there iv been recommisoning the bike. Powder coat the wheels, new discs & pads, chain & sprockets, rebuild the forks, shock serviced, painting of all the brackets etc etc
  9. I have been using the bike for a lot of road miles, I got lazy with maintaining the bike and after riding it through a flood in North Wales this February it was decided a revamp was required. Full strip, clean, paint and rebuild it is. These are the photos after getting back from the Dragon Rally. A little embarrassing.
  10. Oops... I just couldn't finish the GPX in time....
  11. Ever the nutta @Duckndive .. I will be scaling back my landspeed and wheelie stuff due to building my new bike which i hope to compete on in ACU at POD
  12. If you are anything like me then you're a nightmare to live with at this time of year. Go to work when its dark and come home when its dark, most of the race tracks shut, a big list of jobs that needs doing to your racing machine in preperation for next year. On top of all that people want you to be festive and joyful. Consider this an acknowledgement of your plight. Our Winged Hammer list grew this year and we hope it will continue to grow into 2018. Congratulations to all WH memebers for your achivements in 2017 wether they were PB's, World Records or Championship wins. I see 2018 being no slower for the speed freak division of OSS. So, i ask you share with us your goals and aspirations for 2018. New builds- wether you are a WH or wish to become one next year, improvement ideas for your existing machine or new tracks you wish to race at?
  13. A gsxr 400... like you acknowledged on page 1 of this thread?.. @El Gringothis should be a lil ripper once sorted. Good luck on the 100bhp
  14. Sure we have a B16 CCR numberplate in the shed somewhere with a big black tyre burn in the middle.
  15. Is this in reference to over reving? My friend runs a 750 cdi on his turbo and does several 180mph wheelies with no issue. I have an ignitech and my limiter is set to 11500rpm on a gsxr11 based engine. I often purposely bash it off the limiter (because im a child) with no issue's.
  16. Frame is stamped BIGCC001 which is a kool bit of exclusivity on an already rare frame. Pictures here at our local watering hole.
  17. This is kool. Do you plan to race the bike?
  18. Cheers @MeanBean49 I will just leave the backing plate and pickup as a b12 then for convenience. I was only going to make the change as i thought the ignitech needed the gsxr11 rotor.
