  2. Don't know if it's professional enough... but there is stuff, sounds like from a tell sell commercial... I thought put it on and forms one with the case.

I have no name or brand but mayby another knows what I mean?

    Mk 1 B12 is 305 mm the k7/8 is 310-315 mm:tu

Thnx for your info, verry much appreciated!

Quess it's worth a try, saw them for 55 euro, better than hundreds for revision of an old simpel wp shock (y)

For now other priorities but when I buy such a shock, I will give my feedback to you.

Yes loads of them, its the shock i use all the time on mark 1 bandits, as its easiest to fit,

As to improving handling, depends how fat you are, :Dif like me you are adult sized, it could need re spinging with a stiffer spring to enable getting the right amount of static sag. also  they raise the rear a bit to make it turn in quicker, alright if you have long legs, but easeily fixable with longer dog bones if its too high.

had one on my shiny one for years.....

    works a treat..

How long is such a shock eye to eye?

Got in my 750f a 290 mm I thought standard, had a 1100r one of 310 mm? That was the max and little over. My current WP is 300 mm but had better times so checking out for replacement

You could use the front end might be just a bearing swap but the rear wheel is mutch wider from sprocket face to brack disc face, so I think you'd struggle with that one.

You'd be mutch better off using a b6 rear wheel

Cheap wheels, I bought one for its breaking disc for 25 euro complete, now years later it goes in my gsx600f; 3.5J -> 4.5J  (y)

  6. With other wheel you need other brake disc, matching the wheel. Brake calliper 1100f has bolts further from eachother, seen guys make them oval but I took a matching calliper. For calliper above swinger I used gsx600/750f, hanging under the swinger you need other type.

For 1100r wheel you can bend the thing I got welded from calliper to swinger. 1100r wheel fitted better with 180 tyre.

I got a set of rf900 so wanted 2 same wheels in the bike. Used the 1100r wheel in my gsx750f, same type with bended spokes, matching the gsx750f frontwheel.

Another big advantage of 17 inch wheels is way better frontbrakes! Most use 310mm I thought, b1200, 1100r with calliper on adapterplates. I don't like that look, also got parts of gsx600/750f so used 298 mm discs (also rf600, b6) on spacers... with the way better nissin 4 pots.

  7. Yess standard swinger, original sprocket carrier, rf wheel, brakedisc, brake calliper holder, little spacer and an extra home made spacer other side between calliper holder and swinger, home made thing from calliper to swinger see pic.

  8. 1100r oil cooled wheels are an easy fit, adapterplates for frontbrakes, rear almost plug and play. Mine on rf900 wheels, rear little narrower but even I could do it (with help from machinery friend) so no rocket science... measuring, thinking and puzzling :)

The brake caliper has been on top, the axle is from 750F. Everything else is Slingshot with improved distancing. In order for the brake pads to go straight to the disc, I had to use pads dedicated to one of the motorcycle models on the Y:ph34r:

Curious what type brake pads you took, quess to overcome the smaller disc?

I am doubting, taking 750 bracket for 10 mm bigger disc (outer 5 mm brakepads wont hit disc, mayby with other pads?) or shaving of a b6/b12/rf900 etc one with about 9 mm, last option would be something home made

  10. Someone got the inside distance from a gsf600 swinger? Mayby size where it fits frame?

Still wondering iff a complete rearend fits. Have a b6 wheel.

They use same sprocket hub so chain allignment is correct, b6 is easy to find, easier dogbones for changing height...
