    Vm29 questions

I bought my gaskets from here many years ago, not sure what he's like on price nowadays ? http://www.motocarb.com/
  2. Will you be fitting the sidecar again ? I loved the look of that , especially the aviator seat
  3. All is not lost then , throw them on Eblag and you might get a bit more back. I had my GSX 11 engine done by Roger , still haven't got round to building it back up I'm after some 33mm smoothbores , so if your old ones ever turn up , give me a shout
  4. It all depends on how much you paid for them They are quite sought after nowadays , so I wouldn't think you would have any trouble selling them . What bike were you going to put them on ? They may still be ok for you .
  5. They certainly look like VM29 carbs off the early 750 slabsides ,they were 29mm but they can be bored out to 33mm if I remember correctly.

    GSXR 1100s

They do look very nice . How did you fare at the Classic ? I couldn't get over this year to watch , but already booked for next year
  7. +1 - No problem with the one I fitted
  8. Ask him if he wants a spare one , it would get rid of the bloody monstrosity that I have in my shed
  9. Bloody hell !! I've got one of those old laser systems sat in my garden shed , thought it might do for landfill one day You've made a nice job of the bike YJ , wish I could get a mate to put half the stuff back together in my garage .

    classic tt 2015

You won't regret going to the classic , I did the TT for many years but stopped going about 4 years ago , I got a bit bored with the lack of variety in machines . Have been to the Classic for the last 3 years and love it , it's a lot more laid back than the TT , the roads are a bit quieter and don't seem to attract the bellends whose enthusiasm outweighs their ability . It's great walking round the pits and seeing all the different machines , it's not everyday you get to see a YZR 500 and an XR69 in the same place , let alone racing against each other ! Unfortunately I can't get there this year , but I'm planning on taking my old enduro bike over next year so I can get from one viewing point to the next on the green lanes and back roads whilst the racing is on.
