  1. Standard Mag II swing arm its hard to put a 5.5" rear in, but possible. A lot of people just ran the 4.5" rear. Doubt a 6" would fit. Iv lowered my a tad so shorter forks aren't too much of an issue for me. But generally they sit quite high with standard shock length.
  2. Hi, Just wondering about chain / sprocket sizes. The OE size for the 1100 is 532 bit of an odd one I thought. Slightly larger pin diameter. What do people run on these things now. I know chain tech has improved. Your thoughts appreciated.
  3. That's a very abbreviated back end. Looks like the whole battery box has been cut off. I will be watching this closely.
  4. You can have my 750m Slingy if your short and want something standard. (Not mint but all there) My Harris may be rolling by then if you fancy a Suzuki special.
  5. Teapot cams are a bit soft. So I wouldn't use them. Stock bandit cams maybe better. Or preferably 750 J/K or 1100 k cams.
  6. Bolt it on, nuf said. When I did this I used GSXR 1100 K cams and slotted the bandit cam sprockets. Then dialled them in.
  7. Intlesting vely intlesting........................
  8. Useful little thread.
  9. Doh..... My Mistoook.. I shall amend my ways and pay attention..
  10. That is one lovely looking kettle (sorry air cooled two stroke). I do like moded bikes, but some times its nice to see them left alone.
  11. Most people tend to use a 19 row oil cooler. Standard size hoses are AN8 ( - 8 , JIS 8 or 3/4 UNF )all the same just different name. Torques can supply all the fittings at a decent price if your not fussed by branded stuff (Goodridge etc..) Problem is you will spend nearly as much on hoses and fittings as you will on a cooler..
  12. OK Dumb question time. I'm building a bandit 12 motor using a dot head. What plugs do I need to run as the GSXR750J appears to use different plugs to the bandit 12. Thanks in advance.

Looks lush... What are the headers ?
  14. Its all a bit of a guessing game ‌Vizman whether its a 2 or a 1. My Mag looks like a 2 it has 2 type tank and fairings etc. But according to the frame No and the Harris records its a Mag I
  15. Not another Silver Cross Pram ??? Or is Vizman not allowed any design input into this one. he he... Looks good so far..
  16. Looks like a Mag I because of the tabs on the side rails. All the Harris frames should have a HP number stamped on the headstock. I think the main difference to the Mag I and Mag II were its clothes, the tank on the Mag I came down to the rails for the seat.
  17. Mmmmmm polygon. I do like their kit.
  18. Bandit MK2 carbs are spaced differently to the Mk1 carbs. so should be easy to identify.
  19. V nice, But that head stock just looks odd to my eyes stuck out in fresh air. But the man has talent.
  20. I remember the build thread off the old site. I never liked what he did to it with the bandit clothes. But its not my bike, and each to their own.
