  1. You shoule be alright swapping to bandit switchgear, they have a lever on for the choke. You may even find the wires are the same colour! Whereabout are you?
  2. Do you want a mk2 switch them? I've got a couple gathering dust
  3. He’s got some cool OSS bikes in there!
  4. Supercharged looking at the headers!

  6. I should think so. I've had a K8 gsxr shock, a gen2 busa shock and a Slingy shock in my old EFE and they interchanged easy enough
  7. Thats put paid to that idea then! Anyone want a shortstroke bottom end?

    750 or 1100

    GV73 is 1100 GR77 is 750
  9. I might just swap the barrels and pistons over but we'll see when I get to it.
  10. It will physically fit, I just dont know about valve/piston clearance, comp ration, squish area etc. If no-ones done it i'll have to suck it and see!
  11. I've just been gifted a dothead 750 unit and I'm keeping the head and cams for another build. Whilst i'm doing @Del30's teapot for him, would the 600 teapot head work on the 750 engine? Just thinking of a nice free capaicty uprgrade for him. Ive had a look through Frankensteins guide and couldnt see anything for this quite bizarre swap.
  12. I’ve got a B12 in my slingshot with a micron system and everything clears the B12 sump
  13. That was over the head of the old stud though….
  14. You shouldnt have to take the head off to get them out. See if you can weld a nut on there, it'll wind out once the weld cools down
  15. Slingy, Bandit or Powerscreen should drop straight on so long as you use the correct cam pulleys
  16. If it were mine, and using the old rings, I’d leave the bites alone and the old rings will have worn to the bore. new rings, 100% hone but if the compression was good I don’t think you’ll have to
  17. Its a Micron System, so you're stuck with the 63mm inlet. Plenty of cans about though, I ended up with 4 or 5 when I put my slingshot together, ended up giving them away! Stick a wanted ad up. Someone will have one for you
  18. You can gap them with a file if youre careful, just spend a fiver on some feeler guages first and check em
  19. Glad it went well. I stayed at home and drank beer and swore at people, so not much different to usual @imagoGet yerself well soon mate
  20. 100% check the gap. It could end up being a fookin expensive mistake if you dont
  21. I’ll park one of my shitters up for the weekend!
  22. Take cake with you, @Paulmwill sniff it out and welcome you into the fold
