  1. that looks ideal. Can you PM me with details such a lead time, cost, and wether I need to send across the measurements of my fork fixings. Thanks bobby
  2. Yes I’m interested in that, I can do all the measurements my end. Let me know the details going forward
  3. Does anyone know if a bandit fork brace/mudguard bracket will fit a 1100 slabby? why i ask is there are some nice aftermarket ones I've seen for the bandit but none for my bike, so wondering if a bandit one will do? cheers Bobby
  4. Stamped on the main swingarm pivot tube is 7•11 g h
  5. Basically once all assembled (without the shock installed) the travel of the arm from the top gets stuck approx half way down and gets tight, with force I can make it go past that point but for sure is not right. All bearings a perfect, it’s more an issue with alignment and the big bearing doesn’t want to pass that point, some sort of pivot/angle type issue. It’s totally baffling. I have a 1100 and 750 link and they both have the same issue fitted. with just the swinger in its free smooth and have full travel
  6. I may have wrote this wrong, the J is totally different isn’t it
  7. Again still trying to get my head round what exact Metmachex swingarm I actually have. can anyone answer these questions please - the 11 Original arm doesn’t have bearings in the arm where it bolts to the linkage? - does the oem 750 have roller bearings in the arm where it meets the linkage? - are there any differences on the linkarm between the 750 g h and j? the 750 J, was it identical suspension wise to the earlier models? thanks all
  8. Hi, can anyone tell me by answering these question relating to the rear suspension linkage on a slabby 1100 - how much rotation would you expect from the big bush/bearing from full range of motion? - is the anywhere I can find a technical drawing of a 1100 swingarm? cheers
  9. Brilliant thanks for that, I’ve got a 750 linkage coming too so can have another play this weekend!
  10. Yes good plan, will get a spacer to tidy it up
  11. Does anyone know if the grooves on the front wheel where the speedo drive sits in are removable? I’m wanting to run the wheel without the front Speedo drive but Before paint would like to remove it so it doesn’t look out of place still being there. Cheers
  12. Hi, Can anyone help me by telling me what the differences are between the suspension link arm between the 750 and 1100 slabby. Im struggling with an aftermarket swingarm swap. basically I believe that the swingarm I have is for both the 750 and 1100 and I am trying to work out what I'm missing or need to do extra if anything. thanks bobby
  13. so I've just had another look at this and where the problem lies is that once swingarm is in frame, the linkage on frame, the fixing points from linkage to swingarm are slightly out, the holes don't quit line up, approx a few millimetres out. could this arm be for a 750? if so how different are they both? could a 750 linkage work?
  14. it doesn't move properly before its even all tightened up, basically the swingers in first- all ok, next the linkage where it meets the frame-all ok, now the linkage to the swingarm-tight and not right. i will strip it down again tomorrow with fresh eyes.
  15. Hi all, So I have come to install a metmachex swinger in my 1100 slabbie, the swingarm is correct for the bike as its stamped with what bike its for. anyhow, when I install it and everything is in place the swinger seems tight and stuck and struggles to move properly, I think its something to do with the big roller bearing linkage, all the bearings are good and when I had the original swingers it was fine. Just can't seem to work out what the issue is. any ideas anyone?
  16. Right ok I'm with you, thanks for that information, that will give me something to think about in the lead up to doing the install to see which direction I take with it, cheers
  17. cool will check them out, cheers
  18. So in the process of adding a turbo to my 1052 gsxr, wanting to lubricate the turbo with its own oil pump, now I'm sure I've seen somewhere that there is a mechanical oil pump that is intergraded with an ignition cover somewhere? does anybody know who makes them?
  19. I am going to turbo the bike so will need one
  20. yes its looking like that's my option!
