Yeah - Lizz did an exhibition run a couple of years back on the Comp bike. LOADS of Escort MKI / II, XR2s etc. Didn't really come over as a bike event, not back then anyway.

I spotted this bike at Donington. What a beauty. Looking at the swing arm and the shock setup, I've got one the same in the workshop with an EFE lump hulked in there very loosely. Does anyone recognise the modification? Was it early Harris? Here's the sexy version that's not buried in a dark corner of a shed ..

Massive thanks to everyone who made the oldskoolsuzuki stand the success it was. Loved seeing the beaming faces of most of the track day riders and had empathy for those whose weekends didn't go so well. And not forgetting, congratulations to our award winners - @Havoc @WesCooley19 @strangewayz Great to meet new faces and some beautiful machines. I'll let a better wordsmith than I summarise the event but what a weekend! Here are some of my visual highlights.

Show Details! This is the info that came through for those putting bikes on the stand. Note that we cannot access site until 2PM FRIDAY. Contact numbers will be sent by pm to collect passes once on site over the weekend.

Hiya John It's been tricky to organise! I'll cover the gate if you are happy to cover the stand shuffling with Paul? As far as tickets for handing out, there are now 12 bikes for the stand. (Bubba out, Spamwood on the track) Rob has allowed us a bit of extra space so it would be great to have a couple of track bikes back in the stand if that's do-able logistics wise. I'll give Viz's number out for any stragglers / queries later on. We're using the same banners and we'll bring a paste table just in case. We can have a vehicle at the back of the stand so this could be used for storage if folk want to leave jackets / lids at the stand. I think Viz is going safari with the Landy so that'll probably end up in the camping field. Thanks for stepping in.

I think we have 3 groups Track Day Riders with own facilities Track Day Riders no facilities Riders with Bikes for the stand Still hoping with the extra space that we may be able to get a couple more in on the stand but will conflab with the team later. It seems the site layout is unfamiliar even for those who have been previously. Would it be helpful to try and pull something together ref camping up? Can I help with this or are riders happy to make their own arrangements for accommodation for selves and motorcycles when not riding? Open to feedback.
