Short answer, NO. Longer answer. There is about as much chance of the 1200 fitting the 400 frame with no modifications, as there is me sprouting wings out of my arse and flying to the moon
  2. you need to make a push rod, ivg done it several times, 600 bandit to 1127 and to 1157 also mark 2 600 to 1127, and every time i had to make a push rod the right length, its easy get a bit of 6mm wooden dowel and trim to length until it works then cut a bit of 6mm bar or an old push rod, easy peasy.
  3. I see, i was going to say stick it in the post and ill do it??? postage might be a bit though
  4. Ive doen loads and they usually go with a bang at about 5 or 6 tonnes, some do take more, my press has a gauge and goes up to 12 tonnes, i did have one once that Someonen has drilled and tapped a grub screw into the back to secure it, worth checking.. as you can see the stem is pressed down wards, and needs a ring or something to allow the bottom to come out. Ive never had to heat one.. it must come out as it went in
  5. I boked last January, always too keen me.
  6. Thats not entirely true, they arent the same, as the gsxr ones have a spring loaded damper on the end, the bandit ones dont, also i looked in my box and found 4 , 2 bandit and 2 gsxr, the 2 gsxr ones are different lengths, I have used gsxr one in b12 once but the plungers were the same length, one of these has a shorter plunger??? so some are interchangeable some apparently arent?? and the springs are completely differant.....
  7. First check the oil is coming from the drain pipe oil seals and not from the plug tunnel drain hole which is in that vicinity. it is easy to mistake the location and if its just one of the rocker box seals leaking down the tunnel its very easy to do. Like blubber said if its the drain, tubes head off..
  8. they have 12/53 teeth
  9. no idea, ask them? http://www.classicbiketrackdays.com/webshop/trackdays/

  11. What slim and muscular I must see if my cummerbund still fits,
  12. One of the main reasons for using slingshot forks on 1200 bandits is all the other bits bolt on, wheel, spindle, spacers, calipers, to use the bandit discs you need 4 x 10 mm x 2mm washers to space the calipers in by 2mm, or use slingshot discs, and of course a stem swop, sort the lock stops and off you go
  13. Yup they are spot on, ive fitted 5 or 6 sets to some of my bandits over the years, getting rare as rocking horse poo, especially ones with good chrome and yokes
  14. GSXR750 J/K cylinder head and cams, used to be an extremely cheap way to make a b12 engine much more lively, Ive done 3 over the years and you can literally bolt it all on ( after sorting fuel tap carb issue.) and get 25 or 30 hp more after sorting carbs, also you used to be able to get a complete engine for £100 or so, those day long gone, I got one many years ago with completely shot gearbox and out put bearings for £30.. Also the head is fitted to teapot 750s but with much softer cams,
