Thats the pre production ones, they all had 1156 stamped on the barells and rf900 swingers and gsxr type looms and cdi's and no bottom triangular engine mounts, not many about but a bugger to get bits for if you dont know
-
Also the allternator, ignition pick up and neutral switch plugs are differant
-
Its no good the cdis are different and the plugs are too, its easy to fit all mark 2 leccy parts to a mark 1 engine though
-
Bugger me they are shiny
-
you wont be able to notice the difference, they are supposed to be slightly different and have different part numbers, ive used both in the same engine and couldnt tell a farts worth of acording to the originla spwecs Mark 1 1200 98 hp and 83.6 nm Mar 2 1200 98 hp and 91.7 nm Iv ridden both black to back ages ago, and i couldnt feel the extra 8 torques

bought a B6 18 months ago to commute on, wanted mark 2 wheels to get the wider front rim, mark 1 curved spake front 3 inch rear 4.5 inch, mark 2 straight spokes 3,5 inch front 4.5 inch rear. BUT the fronts is a straight swop, whereas the the rears aint, you need the sprocket carrier, the spacers and caliper hanger to make it fit.. once i finished it it rained non stop fro 2 weeks so i sold the bloody thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just like to say that the docs and nurses in the Med centre and Nottingham hospital were brilliant, they must get fed up with bike racer monkeys being wheeled in on stretchers but still got on with it without bollocking me, except for the senior trauma Doc who is a car racer and kept on about 2 wheels being unstable and no wonder we fall off... Also it was so quick, 5 minutes after going into A&E i was in having Xrays. God bless the NHS

Well done that manthats the table I couldn't find cheers shipmate -
Any of you water cooled monkeys got a 600 SRAD, if so could you please measure the unloaded fork length from the spindle centre to the top of the leg???,, Merci beaucoup shipmates...
-
Speeds rotor 34981-35F00.
-
I've done 2 of them, on both the output shafts were case hardened, so the middle was easy to drill, worked a treat
-
these are listed on a certain internet auction site a gsx1100g forks, they look remarkably like 1200 bandit ones,
-
32 1/2 inches. what's thtat in real money????? 825mm !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! flippin eck that's long???? is that from the top edge of the fork nut to the centre of the spindle???
-
If I remember correctly the steering stem is very similar to a b1200, bearings are the same size and I think its the same length, so any of the fork swops that have been done to 1200 bandits will do, and I think swirls right, later gsxr stuff will be too short but slingshot 1100 usd's are the right length, I looked into this several years ago as I was offered one cheap, what's the fork length from the top of the cap nut to the centre of the wheel spindle with the front unloaded|??????????????

heres a mark 1 bandit tap Ant. nit 44mm unfortunately
