  2. Cant really see yet, but there are bits of oil pump casing in the sump and the whole thing is moving about.... Best case, its come loose and the pump casings got broke, worst case, the pumps been hit off of the crankcase and damaged that.!!!!!! Ill hopefully get the motor out later, the whole bike was very cheap though.. I bought it as needing a replacement engine as the seller thought there was a gearbox issue.!!!!!!!!!

  8. Im tight so I did it the cheap way, choped the ends off of a cheap yoke and welded the lotb together, gained 25mm, thats enough unless you are using it on track days and have a fat oil cooler, total cost 10 years ago, was, IIRC, £11 and a cake for the welder at work
  9. 775mm, I've tried 720mm k series forks before and stuffed the mudguard into the oil cooler under heavy breaking, home made stepped yoke sorted it out
  10. What’s the 3 letter wheel code on the spoke???
  11. 15 1/2 stone, so your a lightweight, both gsxr and cbr shocks should be oK, if your a normal size like me they might need re springing, but try your hagon first with the VFR swinger all the mounts and leverage will probably be different anyway..
  12. Not being funny but what do you weigh. Are you a salad dodger or skinny bloke..??
  13. Mk1 bandits shock is 306mm you can get away with one 10 mm longer, busas shocks are 330mm so fit mk2's.. i have used Gsxr1000 K7/8 on about 10 bandit mark 1's they work well and fit right in with 4 washers and a Stanley knife.. but if you have a hagon that fits use that..
  14. Classic bike track day 3 weeks Friday, who's coming, ill be there for the first run out of the Tpot 1216 http://www.classicbiketrackdays.com/castle-combe-april-2019/

  16. Trouble is I don't know what it came off, I bought it as a gsxr one but no idea of year or model??? i can't remember who I got it from either
  17. When I get back from my hols I'll whip it off and do a load of measurements, it's gsxr/bandit calliper spacing and fully floating with a needle roller bearing in it....
  18. That's what's most important, what feels right for you good d man crack on
  19. It's a mass damper! Cuts vibes apparently, when I got mine new it was removed and binned, 21 years later it still doesn't vibrate
