Anybody know of any websites that do emulsion tubes for the bst 40's, iv looked on factory pro but their site is a nightmare to navigate.
On carb strip down iv noticed 2 that are oval and need replacing.
Are the mikuni bst 40 used on any other bikes ie BST40-266 03 is used on the ktm are the parts interchangable.
Think I have a spare set. Almost new parts, maybe few hundred km's run with them. Pm if interested.
Oopsie this was quite old thread

I still have all the parts except the fuel tank. Some day I might get that thing on the road.

Might seem a silly question. I have an 1100 w with a knackered top end, so was wondering whether to drop an oil boiler in it. I think B12 engines go in slingshot frames, but do they go in waterboilerframes?
Yes
Angle grinder helps

Fuel injected compound turbo intruder engine would be interesting. Using methanol as a fuel.

Haha knew that, it is just something that has come into my head, as i have seen other threads/posts on other OSS bikes that have had oil pump up grades done
by using pumps/gears from other Models.
If you want to upgrade your pump gears. Get a proper aircooled motor

If you manage to weld some tubes in the headstock area it will be stifferJust make sure you have quality welds and good fitment. Best option is A. Angles and bracing tubes meet at the same spot.

How about H*nda with EFE engine. In my mind it is not EFE

Mmh, i thought they could be enough.
Engine is a 1216 with ported M head and M cams, chargecooler and a pretty big turbocharger. I'm looking for a efr 6758, but the price at the moment is slowing everything down.
Silly money...

Step 1. Remove head nuts
Step 2. Instal cam cover
Step 3. Start the engine
Step 4. Rev it to the limiter
Step 5. Wait until the head pops
Sorry I had to. Have done this to a Gurls blouse engine. It was fun

So where & what angle is the best place to mound a external wastegate. Also how is the internal one ported, any pics please.
Collector or turbine housing. Avoid 90 degree or tighter angle. Figure out how the exhaust gasses flow and try to make the transition to the port as smooth as possible. Usually in motorcycles collector part is quite short so there is no place for the port. I have done few manifolds for cars and did place the port to turbine housing. It works fine.

10-20 micron is a fine and better suited for after the pump.

What kind of filter you have? If it is very fine filter you should place it after the pump to avoid pump cavitation. If it is coarse then place it before the pump.
Up pipe is ok for the pressure gauge. But I would recommend to use good fitting for the hoses and forget those spikey things

Vote for the external. Better for controlling boost. In low boost/power builds they might be overkill but still I would take external.

Busa and 1000 k3 forward swingarms needs frame rail cutting. And they also look odd in efe.

Does anyone have opinion or experience to help me choose flatslides for my 1340. Goal is to get big fat torque curve without hurting the top end. Should I go with 38 rs? How about keihin fcr 39? Or is the 40mm rs only choice? At this moment I have stock head but porting will be done before assembly. I am not sure yet if camshafts will be replaced.

Is there a suspension cartridge kit available for 1989 rwu 1100 forks?
I tried to find myself but many are offering same kit for years 1989-1992.
