  1. yes must be loads on Eblag your side of the pond or a dealer
  2. How much effect does the offset have on rear wheel and chain run
  3. Its an Air Cooled Engine other pipes "it's most likely an aftermarket fitting" are for an oil cooler unless US models had one as standard
  4. A lot of tuned Jap cars use them and they get good reports on a few faceache groups....common comments are use ARP bolts
  5. Unlike other Suzuki Steel Frames the Zuma frame is quite generous at the pivot being 240mm "ish" So one of the easier frames to fit another arm in ... That Said i quite Like the Stock Arm
  6. So that explains some things and and opens up loads more .... The post you are quoting is talking about a stock blandit 12 head "28cc chamber" and stock 79mm B12 pistons all good so far its goes on to quote skimming the cylinder head by "1.5mm " to increase the compression which also reduces the chamber size to 22.1cc "all good" It then goes on to suggest the extra incresces possible using a 1216 kit 81mm "all good still However you are saying in your thread questions ...using busa pistons to go 1216 "not the same as a 1216 kit piston" You say you have decked the block by 1.2mm which puts the busa pistons out the bore "or Do you mean Skimmed the head" ? You also say using a Dot Head "23cc chamber" or do you mean a 28cc chamber head that has been skimmed ? As Skimming a blandit 28cc chamber head does not make it a "Dot Head" and skimming a Dot head that much opens a whole new can of worms with valve to piston clearance Confused Dot Com I think you need to clarify what you are actually intending on using to clear up the conflicting info between the posts -------------- Just to throw another in the mix I have another busa pistoned 1216 engine 8.41: 1 Cr that has a ported "1100 M Shim Head" that made 129BHP with a badly set up set of RS38s on it
  7. As measured in a real build not a guess or hearsay Busa Slugs in a Stock Block on a Stock Crank and Rod are 8.41 : 1 A Dot Head will give a 1.1 increase in Comp at Best "real build fact not a guess" A 1.2mm deck of a stock 1127 or 1157 block will leave the crown of the busa piston 1.2mm out the block "Interesting to see how you deal with that" Please feel free to post pics and dyno sheets of the magic build you read about on the Blandit Forum ....
  8. Yes As the text says "Stock Crank , Stock GSXR Rods, Stock 1157 Block, Gen 1 Busa Pistons." Draw Thru Turbo...
  9. I,ll just leave these here then.... Stock Crank , Stock GSXR Rods, Stock 1157 Block, Gen 1 Busa Pistons.. ..
  10. You say you have had the blocked decked by 1.5mm ? So given a busa piston on a stock gsxr rod is flush with the top "deck" on a stock block .then surely the crown of the piston will be out of the bore or have I missed something ?
  11. on that calculator dome volume should be a positive no for busa pistons What rods are you using ?
  12. Doing the sums Based on my 1216 motor but using Dot Head chamber size of 23cc it would be but you should do your own sums based on measuring your components
  13. Sound's like it's the same guy that cropped up on an American Van Group on Faceache "he had a couple chevy vans on polish plates for sale" then rapidly disappeared when someone posted Con Artist on his posts .. I did a reverse image search on the Faired EFE pics and he has a lot of bikes with similar background grass and caravans on a couple of Irish bike pages ..
  14. Was it imported into Ireland "still in EU Or Northern Ireland "not in eu" As the required paperwork & fee,s to reg in UK will be different Headlight chuck a blandit light on and a cheep MPH speedo to get over that hurdle initially
  15. find the 2 that are the feed and earth for the bulb and just use those
  16. well i would say the fronts are connected to the wrong wires in loom
  17. my 1216 busa piston job looks exactly the same on a bore scope
  18. It,s quite hard to get a decent reading these days with unleaded fuels.... i use NOS Suzuki branded plugs which i think are Denso ...... i would start with a new set of plugs .... and a bag with what you need to get them out and a decent thrash down a long straight kill ignition coast to stop and pull plug's are you sure its 1216 and high comp ? slugs look very flat .....
  19. Don't hold ya breath he's not been online for 3 years
  20. I know there are not that many owners on OSS however for those there are i found some online parts books GSX 750 Zuma https://www.bike-parts-suz.com/suzuki-motorcycle/750-MOTO/GSX/1999/GSX750X-E4-/1560 GSX 1200 Zuma https://www.bike-parts-suz.com/suzuki-motorcycle/1200-MOTO/GSX/1999/GSX1200X-E4-/1286 The Site https://www.bike-parts-suz.com/ also has all the usual suspects on it as well including some grey imports It's an offshoot of Streetbike Dudley so they won't actually have the parts in stock and will only get them from Robinsons or Suzuki GB SO the best bet is to use to find the part no,s then order from Robinsions with OSS discount There is also an excellent cross ref feature on Fowlers https://www.fowlersparts.co.uk/ to see what other models use same parts
  21. Many Moons ago Centreline used to do road versions of there race wheels which were bolt together The road versions had bolts but were not bolt together wheels they just had a drilled flange like your pic
  22. And Cams are forgings not castings as a rule
