  3. Any movement on this? My favourite frame that's been wrapped around a oil boiler. I was talking to a lad with one years ago on customfighters, his mate worked in the workshop I think. I was trying to get the frame diagrams last time I was talking to him to build another.

  7. Not seen the helical primary actually cause any issues in reality tho. And the teeth have a larger surface area than straight cut.
  8. Weirdly enough, I find high rearsets comfortable, Harley pegs make my hip lock up
  9. Really you'll have to get it on a dyno to get it spot on with pods. Will run better with duel pods rather than individual ones
  10. Anyone know if a micron system off a slingshot 11 will clear a b12 sump before I offer it up?

  12. Yep rods are longer, with the shorter stroke and taller block it shouldn't be too far off. Will be measuring the chamber volume and doing the maths when I get everything together. The other issue is the 1052 oil return tubes are seized in the cases so have to sort that out first

  14. Cheers gents. Plan is 1052 bottom, busa pistons and rods, 1127f barrels, ported and skimmed dot head with reground cams. I know the head was skimmed that much that it needed a base spacer to lower comp when on a 748 race motor. Not exactly straight forward, but fuck it, why not I'm thinking between the skimmed head and busa rods ill more likely have reduce the comp. Will have to wait and see unless one of the brains on here can fill in the gaps for me
  15. Will a Dot head go on gsxf barrels on a 1052 bottom? It's not mentioned in frankensteins guide. Have a load of motor parts knocking about and thinking about building a frankenmotor

    Anyone know if the o rings for the body of the starter motor are suzuki weird sizes or available from normal suppliers? Same question for the o ring joining starter motor and alternator to the cases?

  19. I'm still at a loss If the spacing is oil cooled I'll take them off him but would be nice to know what they came off They have me stumped.
  20. That's what I thought I believe so but not sure if they still had the pipe for it or not.
  21. A friend of mine picked these up as b12 carbs but they're not. He measured them at 38mm I.d. But they don't have power jet, but have the bolt that unscrews from the bottom of bowl for jets. Not checked cylinder spacing yet.
  22. Anyone know if a b12 rim will slot straight in? Looking to fit a straight spoke wheel and bandits the easiest to get my hands on.
  23. Cheers for that. Thinking of going with an adjustable top shock mount. Just need to hunt down a shock. Have a 95 750 arm to go in. Looking for a straight spoke 5.5 rim to go in now.
  24. Well gents, what's the best handling rear set up? K7 shock actually handle well or need to be resprung? Anyone ran the srs linkage? Splash out for wilbers? Want the best possible set up...
