  1. Restrictor should help/stop your oil problems,if you go in your shed/garage run the scavenge for a few seconds when you go in there. My scavenge pump is wired to a permanent live so I can run it for a few seconds before start up and switch off of the motor,I don't have any oil issues, yes float levels can be an issue to fuel starvation. Glad to hear it's going in the right direction, if you're running a slash cut, shine a torch down it to see the colour of the turbine wheel, this will tell you how it's running, saves looking at the plugs.
  2. No room and dont want it there anyway.
  3. Oil cooled its a bandit motor, that's why it's in this section
  4. My main cooler is still at the front of the motor where it would traditionally be,I have a billet oil rail and a cooler and some hoses so I thought, why not fit them
  5. The idea is to mount it off the bar the battery box is mounted off.
  6. Here ish be a bit higher up obviously
  7. Thanks,it ain't going at the front of the bike if it gets fitted though.
  8. Hmm might have to have a rethink then
  9. Going to fit a head cooler to my turbo GS over the winter, the oil flow will go as in the pic below,so oil to cooler out of cooler to sump as its going to be mounted behind my battery box, does the oil return need to be below the oil level or can it drain from a higher point on the sump? Anyone forsee any issues?
  10. Put it in the one that goes in the oil gallery.
  11. This is the one way valve several of us are using, @clivegtoWhat size restrictor jet you got in your oil feed mate? Eblag is your friend
  12. This is my set up,are you getting oil in the exhaust while its running? You will almost certainly need a restrictor in the oil line and id advise putting a one way valve in that line as well to stop oil bleeding through when the motor isnt running.
  13. Ive got small reservoir on mine between that pipe and the turbo,i'll get a pic for you.
  14. 2 to 2.5 fuel pressure, drill a fuel main jet to i think its 1mm ,drill and tap your banjo bolt suit the jets thread and fit it to the banjo bolt for your turbo oil feed pipe which i presume is being fed from the oil gallery plug below the ign casing, also either make a small reservoir or use a big bore pipe in the oil return from your turbo,so the oil drains from the turbo properly. I put my pilot jets up one size on my 34s.
  15. FBM sells lock ups too Larry, not sure if he does aircooled ones though,Agree with Clive,Sam Baker is a good shout.
  16. I'd been banned 6 times by then, had endorsements coming out my ears, they were the days, when I was 16 and on me moped,me and my partner in crime got 21 producers (document producers) in one evening of mayhemOn first name terms with the local police

  18. Good call, mine have all been glycerine filled gauges.
  19. Havent had to in any of the ones ive had fitted mate, does it calm down if you squeeze the pipe?
  20. Off the carb top if you have bandit carbs,or the vacuum take off on tin top 34s as alternatives to the plenum.
