  1. I hope there is an expert on here to help. I have fitted a longstroke slabside motor into a slingshot chassis with a slingshot loom and ignitor. i have also swapper the twin slabside ignition pickup for a single slingshot pickup, is there any way to check whether to ignition timing is set correctly? the motor turns over fine, with a spark on all cylinders, however it doesn't fire or even give an indication of firing.
  2. Picked up a couple of Slingshots this morning, one is standard the other has a Yoshimura 829 engine with Ohlins fork internals and Shock great starting points for a couple of race reps similar to these two.
  3. Glad to hear that you are OK, gave us all quite a scare taking a nap at the side of the track. the fueling issue continued in the tech bay when we collected your bike, pissing fuel everywhere. You have motivated me to get my slabbie sorted out now.

    Dry Clutch

    Any Dry clutch experts here? I have an LTD 750 motor in my 87 GSXR race bike, however at only 750 cc its just not powerful enough so i am popping a nice and freshly built 1100m motor in, should spice things up a bit. My question is will the clutch from the LTD fit the 1100 motor? or will i need different (longer/shorter) gearbox shafts.
