Paul didn't hold back on his talents when GSXRDel asked
him for a paint scheme resembling The Punisher comic/film theme. He chose to use a silver
metal-flake in a black background, and overlaid the flames and "Punisher" skulls where necessary.
Del had promised Paul some help with the preperation
of the panels for painting, but unfortunately never got round to helping. Which means that
all the preparation, filling and paintwork is totally Paul's own handywork. Pictures don't
really do justice to the depth of the paint and the way the metallic really does glint
through the blacks and reds used on this bike.
One of the neatest bits of the trick paintwork on this
bike is the screen. Paul has managed to give a black screen with a "Punisher" skull that only
becomes visible in the right light. The picture here shows the view from inside, but you can see
a similar effect from the other side of the bike, only slightly more subtle. It's one of those
effects that makes you go back for a second look and think to yourself, "did I just see that?"
