In preparation to streetfighterday 2005 Tinie from BikePenR made a
stand for the swingarm/rear wheel assembly.
Sadly we never got to use it because Tinie was ill at streetfighterday,
but when fighterama was coming up I asked him if he could modify it
so that I was able to use it as a paddock-stand.
The showstand for the swingarm and rear wheel.
A couple of days later...
...Tinie surprised me with this work of art!
Like all his work the ingenuity of his designs and
attention to detail is amazing!
The rear axle sits in a nylon ring.
An edge on the inside makes sure the swingarm can't
be damaged.
On the other side it clamps onto the axle and again
only nylon touches the bike.
It's very easy to attach the stand to the bike but it
won't come of easily and can be rotated upward so it stays attached
to the bike while manouverering it around.
Thanks to Tinie from BikePenR.NL for another great piece of engineering!
