TES Performance nitrous bottle bracket
Supplied by J&W Motorcycles

Christmas is early this year. At least that's what I thought when Wayne (Rotty) from J&W Motorcycles asked me if I needed anything for my bike. As we all know J&W stock TES Performance bits and one of the numerous things they do are billet nitrous bottle clamps.

Apparantly the bottles I have aren't a standard size. They're old "Wizard of NOS" bottles with a 102.5mm diameter so they had to be made one-off. No problem when Rotty is on the case so when visiting J&W after the OSS Party he handed me this shiney clamp.

When I got back home the clamp fitted around the bottle perfectly.
Here it's getting used to it's new home.

I spent quite some time designing a mounting point that allowed easy access and removal of the bottle.

The bracket has a protuding lip that prevents the bottle to turn.

At fabrication time the design changed a little because Tinie from BikePenR told me the bracket could be made out of a piece of angular steel so that we wouldn't have to use the mill.
Setting the bracket up to be welded into place.
Bracket welded into place and bottle installed.
To install the bottle is just a matter of removing the seat, lowering it into place and installing/tightening the M10 screw.

The bottle is nicely tucked away (which can be a downpoint if you're a show-off ;-)

The bottle is very close to the nitrous-solenoid requiring the absolute minimum of high-pressure hose.
