Spindly GS500E fork stanchions and a single huge 320mm GSX-R1000
disk grabbed by a 6-pot caliper means sharp left turns once you
apply the brakes ;-)
To keep things under control I designed a fork brace that will also
hold the front mudguard.
I designed the brace in AutoCAD and stuck the drawing and .dxf
file on the news page.
Mark from Manic Motorcycles took on the job a while
later it turned up in my mailbox.
The anoraks may remember this mudguard, the first incarnation
of my 7/11 carried and orange/yellow paintjob.
The brace fits like a dream and looks great.
Thanks to Mark from Manic Motorcycles for realising
my ideas!
I'm really glad I didn't fuck up my measurements this time ;-)
