Gavin Davidson's Speed Triple +1

This bike was the one of siamese twins with Mr.7/11's '86 Jap. spec. GSX-R750G. Like most bikes that had a long and miserable life the bolt-ons appeared everywhere like mushrooms on on old tree.
We've got a Fox shock, pink Renthal bar, big headlamp with blue anodized clamps after removing the fairing, a Motad Nexxus 4-2-1 stainless exhaust system and a Sigma Sport BC800 which he bought when on vacation in Holland.

After visiting the 7/11 Boulevard and seeing Pat Chin's GSX-R750 with 17" wheels Gavin started investigating the possibilities of doing the same himself. Two years (!) later he stumbled across the remains of a GSX-R750Ltd (the race rep with dry clutch) but couldn't get the deal closed.
At the end of last century he got his hands on a silver GSX-R1100K rear wheel and the front-end of a GSX-R400. Now it looks even more like a Triump Speed Triple.

Next on the list is a Cagiva Mito seat unit, which compares to a mini-916 seat unit and by then it will need a new coat of paint to get rid of the diversity in colours. Probably "Speed Triple Yellow".

Mirror, mirror on the wall... who has the pinkest Renthal of 'em all?

It sleeps below a bridge... so this must be a "ratbike" then?
