Russel's
HellKat
Russel no longer owns this bike, but like many ex-Kat
owners says he still regrets it.
But, he says, I can allways build me another one...
...and you will Russ, you will... look at me ;-)
At first glance when I saw the pictures he sent I knew
it.... this is THE paintjob for a Kat.... in one word AWESOME.
My wife said she hated it so now I will defenitely copy it onto
my bike ;-)
The bike was a 750 import, fitted with a CBR600
front end that bolted straight on using one bearing from the Kat
and one from the CBR.
It uses risers fitted with MX bars.
The back end was a twin shocked CBR it
was so high due to the CBR having a bracket fro the rear brake and
not a torque arm but Russ says it handled wonderfully. The tail
piece was off a CB900F.
It would have been perfect with the standard
rear end in my opinion, and maybe even better with an RGV250 seat
unit.
