Suzuki GSX 1100 EFE , the naked truth.


For all you curious bastard's, here's the spec's of my old school killer.

 



 

The Blast from the Past


Engine:

Stock as fuck EFE engine, type GV71B with 36 mm GSX-R carb's and 2 double K&N airfilters, heavy duty clutch plates and springs and A.P.E. manual camchain tensioner, painted gloss black.
Car style engine breather.

Full stainless steel Laser exhaust.

Frame:

Stock EFE chassis(also type GV71B) with some unneccessary brackets removed.
Top shock mount modified to accept Bandit shock.

Front End:

1993 GSX-R 600 USD forks and yokes,Kawasaki ZX-7-R Tokico 6 pot calipers gripping 1992 GSX-R 1100 discs(thanks to Sam Evo II :-), Nissin master cylinder with Ducati reservoir.
1989 GSX-R 750 wheel.
Aftermarket double headlights, Superbike bars on Husky MX risers.
USA spec. Yamaha V-Max dashboard, modified to read both oiltemp and fuel-level on V-Max watertemp gauge.
Speedo from a pushbike.

Rear End:

Suzuki Bandit 1200 swinger,5.5 J wheel, caliper and torsion bar (180 tyre).
Bandit 1200 shock.

Bodywork:

Stock EFE, including front fender.

Electrics:

Modified EFE loom..
GSX-R coils and leads.

Paint:

Lamborghini Diablo Yellow with blue graphics (It only reads Suzuki....)

Engineering:

Front wheel made to fit USD forks, spacers for calipers, bracketry for stock EFE front fender on USD legs.
Bandit swinger machined to fit.
Lot's of little brackets in aluminium.
V-Max dash converted to read both oiltemp and fuel-level on watertemp gauge.
(By the little switch in the upper right of the dash).
