Thats not entirely true, they arent the same, as the gsxr ones have a spring loaded damper on the end, the bandit ones dont, also i looked in my box and found 4 , 2 bandit and 2 gsxr, the 2 gsxr ones are different lengths, I have used gsxr one in b12 once but the plungers were the same length, one of these has a shorter plunger??? so some are interchangeable some apparently arent?? and the springs are completely differant..... 4 Quote Link to comment
wraith
Ok , thanks for that @fatblokeonbanditi have two in a box of bits (don't know if they are gsxr750 or 1052) so I will remove the one in the b12 motor and see what's what. Quote Link to comment
bluedog59
It's always worth checking the spring on a tensioner, they are a service item and do wear and compress over time. A good clean, check the ratchet and a new spring will often sort it. 2 Quote Link to comment
