  1. Hi all, Question, Has anyone used RS-D21-K for a GS1000? Got a 81 model with 34mm inlet. I see in the Mikuni manual that they recommend RS36-D3-K for GS1000. I've got a set of new 34mm inlet. Are they soft enough to push the 36mm into? Stock engine. Any takers, cheers
  2. Hi, i am new to this.. (sorry i missed out on the introduction.. fair enough!!) i have a GS1000H from 1980 and my carburetors are used out. I would like to replace it. i found a refurbished carburator form a GS1000LN from 1979 that looks good. my question is, do they fit? my GS1000 has a Mikuni VM26SS and here are the specification from the seller about the GS1000LN: Mikuni 26mm GS1000 OEM carbs (pictures attached) Measurements : eng side : IS = 26.7mm OS = 33.9mm (aprox) Spacing center/center : left / rt banks = 75mm each + between 2 = 96.5mm thank you very much for your help and have a nice day

  4. Ok guys, here's one for you. Upon cleaning and overhauling the Mikuni 38 mm carburators of my 1990 GSX-R 750 I found a tiny nozzle just lying in the float chamber. Below are some crappy pictures. I am quite sure these parts are supposed to be somewhere inside the carbs instead of swimming in the float chambers. But where, and what does it do? I can't seem to locate where they should go. Thanks in advance!
  5. Anyone know if the RS36 inlet meet up with the 87 Slabbie 1100 stock airbox?cheers!
  6. So i got my hands on a set of bst36ss from a 1998 bandit 1200. I was wondering which dynojet kit is the best for my 1100 kat engine(83) with a free flowing exhaust. I was thinking a gsxr1100 stage 3 kit, but is it even compatible with the bst36ss from a bandit 1200? Please help guys :---)
  7. Hello, I want to know if anyone has experience with the base jetting, when swapping out the carbs on a gsx1100 with a pair of bst36ss from a gsxr750. my gsx1100sz has no modification other than a free flowing racing exhaust. regards Morten
  8. I have a set of 36mm Mikuni carbs on my Bandit 1200 and am rebuilding the bike which will have a turbo. I need to restore the carbs to standard setting as they are fitted with a Dynajet 3 kit. What are the sizes of jets, needles, emulsion tubes, etc that I need and where is the best place to souce these? Cheers.
  9. I got the bike in December it was never running 100%, after clening the carbs i discovered the previous owned had put a DynoJet kit stage 3, going from 115 main jets to 165, huge jump, I've been trying to do a trial and error since the bike is running extremely rich and my spark plus get fouled really fast. I tried going down to 150 main jets, and 140, still running like shit. I want to go back to 2 over on the main jets, i want to know if Suzuki goes up 2.5 or 5 increments? stock is 115, should i go to 120, or 125?
