  1. Well picked up a '93 750 just before christmas. Seems quite a comfortable bit to ride and a pretty smooth engine. It came with a set of top yokes and risers, headlights brackets and a steering damper aside from the fork bracket missing. Just starting to clean it but I imagine a few bits will be swapped over or removed soon. got a k7 1000 rear shock which I'm told is a direct bolt on so will give that a go as both the front and back seems a tad soft. Will have a look MadB, i'm in south london.
  2. Hi MadB, Weight has been my main concern with this bike however seeing as i've owned a bandit I imagine i'd be ok! Was planning on using it for a few wheelies, rolling burnouts etc - so the water cooler & fan is the main thing for me. Interesting to know a K series rear shock fits, got a k7 1000 off my bandit lying about amongst other things. See this bike has the same 6pots as my bandit but this wn has been sat outside by the looks of rusty bolts and modified distastefully with crappy coloured footpegs and fairing bolts they may not be in such great condition. Not to mention it's had a fair few owners (12!) and he wants £1000, does this sound on the money? I'm looking elsewhere for a later model but they seem thin on the ground.
  3. Evening all, Looking at buying a 1994 Gsxr750 wn, are there any common faults with this bike especially with the age? Looking at turning it into a subtle non-faired/streetfighter which I want to use to piss around on before i get too old . Currently have a b12 and a gsxr 1000 k3, like them both but I want something inbetween and power not being a necessity. Viewed a 92 but seems that the 94 bike was better equipped, more powerful and lighter, somehow? Any hints, tips and suggestions welcome.
  4. Pretty much spot on, nothing in the way of flat spots and pulls well through the whole rev range.
  5. As mentioned previously try bigger mains. I've pissed about for hours with my mk2 B12 and 110 arn't big enough for a stock filter with the hole mod, let alone a k&n filter. Setups in mine currently is 117.5mains, bottom needle clip, stock filter with hole mod. I've also tried 127.5mains, bottom clip, k&n w/hole mod.

    B12 upgrades?

Was there any particular reason you used the k5 link pipe? I know the OEM k4 one has a valve but was that the only reason?

    Hello

Welcome, what did that tank come off? Looks like a coffin.
  9. What boost are you running, is there much in the way of lag. And the turbo looks the same height if not lower than the sump? Are you pumping the oil back up?
  10. Noisy too with that screamer pipe, what sort of power does that produce and what front discs are those?
  11. As I suspected, top stuff. Cheers
  12. Does anyone know the hole centers and what calipers came as standard on a gsxr1100K fork?

    Bandit 1200

Well it was a stock bandit, fuel tap appears to be working ok and starts up after sitting for a week or two no problem. Was dynoed/AFR checked and like yours spot on, maybe the popping and banging is just part of the fun. I purchased this ivans jetting kit after wanting a tad more power. Apparently pretty good stuff, doesn't seem to work well with my bike and now i'm thinking I should've just done it the normal way and jet it properly with a K&N and throw my wideband sensor on rather than wasting 100quid on a jet and needle kit. I purchased some replacement fuel tubes from NRP carbs, they've turned up and they're the wrong bloody ones. The mk2 b12 has a 6hex shaped emulsion tube with a o-ring and a male thread which screws into the body of the carb?
