Exactly. The needle jet hol ovalised and it allow more fuel. My 98 bandit did that. As soon as i change them it became smooth as it was suposed. My current rf900 did that too. You can buy them on megazip or other parts sellers. Last time i checked (2 years ago) i found 4 for about 140$ shiped (cad) Factorypro also sells harder one that will last, but can wear the needle.

That is a lot of dedication to race with those awesome bikes. Looks like a blast

I saw someone using slingshot/srad triples, with k4 forks and calipers using srad axle wheel and rotor and 4.5mm rotor spacers. Its on youtube.

Some boils them in water. Dont know how much it last. I usually replaced with new ones, less fiddling and cracking..

Yes , dame types. Just take whatever jet# you need. My old b12 had a gsxr1100 jet kit fitted with emulsion jets. Work ok to me

Last week was hot, i could feel the power lost between early morning and late afternoon on my work commute on my rf900. (Im in st-hyacinthe) Warm the engine up and sync those carbs before fiddling more with mixture screw, you need them working together. And did you inspect needle jets (emulsion tubes) while carbs were out ? Ovalised ones will fuck carb setups at low rpm/load I think you also have a tps you can tune when carbs will be sync

It happened on my 1100f engine and my rf900.. (same fibre discs) They probably sat for long and dried up.. were the bald sections all in the same direction? I had to remove the pan to remove them all. In my case fibres pads jamed in the clutch basket and cause the clutch drag that had me opening it to inspect.. What a fun party between the copper washer of the oil pickup that fell 3 times and the rusted exhaust..

I missed it! 100mm back bone. I wonder how thick the tubes are.. probably quit thin like .75mm How much does your complete bike weight? I happen to have a spare 1127... and lot of parts...
