  1. Cheers Gixer1460. That's what I was thinking but just wanted someone else's opinion on it.
  2. I'm hoping someone can help me. I recently bought some replacement barrels and found a lip approximately 3/4 the way down the bore. Firstly, I can't see any reason for this damage. I checked the pistons that came with it and can't find any damage to them. Secondly, would it cause any problems with the running of the engine. I'm not sure if the rings go that far down for them to be affected by it.
  3. I've just stripped to top end off my bike and found that one of the barrels is scored and one is cracked....not surprising though as the guy I bought it off used pure water as coolant....wtf! I was wondering if anybody has or knows anyone who has a set for sale. Cheers
  4. I'm hoping that someone here would be able to help me with info about the carbs on my gsxr 750 wn. I recently bought a project streetfighter which I'm fixing up.... The issue I'm having is that the carbs on it are 36mm with 115 & 112.5 jets in them. The bike has the original air box with a K&n filter (clean now) and a Remus street legal 4 into 1 system. I can't get any information on settings for the UK spec carbs. I can find the American/Califonia and Canadian one but no UK. Would I be correct in assuming that the UK spec should be 38mm and 115 jets in all the carbs? Could someone help me with the settings for the 36mm carbs? Thank you
