  1. Mine is a 750L ok its a rat but hell soon as you dump that airbox you are in a world of hurt, mine had its airbox take away before i got it, then because of the way a new subframe was added there was no way i could get a airbox back, so i had to deal with k&n crap filters, and flat spot city, i had somebody play with it and got it to run ok but the flat spot at 4 is a knightmare hole, and one ive got to dig out off every ride 30 mph is shit, its iver to higher gear to keep out of 4 or to lower gear to keep under it. Every thing ive read about it is dont bother tuning just added a exhaust, 4° advancer, may be better filter and thats about it. Otherwise you can join me on flat spot hell... haha
  2. Heres my iron pony of death, mummy and daddy wouldnt buy me a pony so i made one.. haha this is my 2018 look and this year iron ponies are in with a splash of ratness thats took years to make.   3. Cool thanks that makes life easier.. now for the heavy lifting and shoe horning it in the frame.. Also do the swing arms swop? I heard the 1100 swinging link is better than having the 750 one?
  4. Cool thanks for that.. so can i keep the wiring loom inplace on the 750? And just replace the cdi with the 1100 one? Heres a pic of the 750 slabby that the engine is going into.. the bottem pic is of another slabby ive got and is in the middle of a cafe racer make over, all the bits came off the bike that had the upside downers plus it has the wheels off a 1st slingshot with a r1 rear shock. The story and bikes ive got is mentle one, all bought to make one slabby look cool which was bought over 14 years ago after missing a bike on here that i didnt buy with everything done to it.... haha
  5. Hello i used to be a member a few years ago when i got into my slabsides, where i ended up with having 4 slabsides, and a rat cafe racer slingshot. So over the years ive been getting one together out of all the others with full fairing and have it a little special, ie upsidedowners rear shock wheels the usual mods, but heres the thing i tattooed a friends wife for a gsxr1100 slabside so i can put the motor into my 750 slabside frame, so could people point to the treads where it has been done before, so i can get to know what needs to be done.. ive strip out the 11 now its time to strip out the 750 that ive just got back together. Heres a few pics 1st is the 1100 the next is my daily hack gsxr750 sling, the last pic is the mess my workshop is..
