1200 bandit plugs

What the best plugs to run on my 7/12 bandit engined bike  there so many on that site , are JR9B the right ones and what size plug spanner  ?? I've not got 1 but some say 16 MM. and some 18 MM

It's a 12mm plug socket

There are loads of fake NGK plugs on that auction site, that why they are so cheap, I have always used real JR9B's in mine and ive had it 19 years and its never missed a beat, also had 12 other 1200 bandits and they have all had standard plugs

I'm going to Stafford this weekend like I've done for the last 8 yrs or so , I'll pick the plugs and spanner up there I hope

12mm Plug socket shown refers to the thread size M12 Fine ..... Actual socket required is 18mm AF as you use. Most 12mm spark plug sockets / 1/2" drive are thin enough for Bandits / GSXR's ............but your buggered when it comes to H**nda's! LOL!

Try your local B&Q or whatever d.i.y./hardware store is in your area. "Tubular box spanners" is what they're called and can be got in a set with all the sizes you'll ever need to remove a spark plug. Whole set should cost you less than a tenner.

Just took the plugs out the bike and all 4 brand new are like this after a 40 mile ride out , as before it runs abit fluffy at tick over but under load it's great apart from when you pull up to traffic lights and it cuts out , could it just be the mixture running rich

Yes those are deffo rich unless you've been 'driving like Miss Daisy'! What are the engine specs - any work done, carb mods?

As far as I no it's all std 1200 bandit

Guessing dirty / blocked air filter or incorrect float levels possibly? Colour wise should be light tan to white on unleaded with a stock bike.
