  1. Do the 83 GSX750ES and the oil cooled GSXR engines have the same mounting points?
  2. So, did you ever have any catastrophic failures? I'm thinking the stock Hayabusa pistons will be the way to go, at first. It'll be cheap to replace them, when I burn them up. (I say when because I'll be teaching myself to tune this turbo engine)...LOL
  3. What rods were you running? (Sorry for all the questions, trying to eliminate guess work..)
  4. Trying to build this thing on an extremely limited budget.
  5. Ok, fair enough. MTC is basically, right around the corner from me. And as far as the Dyna 2000, I thought it had programming capability, as far as timing curves go...??
  6. So, I guess I'll be visiting MTC for the proper slugs.
  7. I understand all of that, this will be strictly a drag bike. I will be running a Dyna 2000 ign. So i should be able to work out a good retard curve and fuel will be VP C16. I'm just curious about wether or not the Hayabusa rods and pistons will be a viable route to take.
  8. Windshield washer fluid is good to use. Easy to see, easy to clean up.
  9. Yeah, I don't know where that # came from. I'm thinking more like 9.5:1 I'd like to be able to run upwards of 20psi.
  10. Anyone else run Busa rods and pistons with a dot head?
  11. I've been thinking about a turbo Bandit 1200 build. Here's what I have in mind- Bandit block bored to accept stock gen1 Hyabusa pistons and rods. Requisite block spacer to achieve approx. 10.5:1 compression with Dot head. 30/27 valves good springs and retainers. GSXR 1100 cams and Proboost Fi race Bandit turbo kit. Any thoughts?
