  1. Yer really happy. Going to get the jets ordered and fitted once they arrive.
  2. A tad lean on final run so going to go with 112.5 mains to be on the safe side. Runs a lot better now tho
  3. So fuelling sorted with 110 jets and 1 clip dropped from middle on needles. What sort of power are people getting from your turbos?? Hitting 160 with 8psi on standard actuators on td04hl16t. Wondering if I'm looking boost from somewhere as thought it could have been more??
  4. Thanks for the input guys. Back on the dyno tomorrow with some smaller mains and a few options. Will be starting easy and see what's happening and alter to suit. @wombat258How do you get a few track days for the price of a dyno run? I usually do the jet changes etc myself and just pay for dyno time so works out pretty reasonable. Hoping to get it sorted tomorrow :-) Video will follow
  5. I probably should have invested in a afr meter a while ago but thought that taking it on a dyno, setting it up there so not running too lean, then leaving it would be a better option as I don't fancy giving it full throttle whilst watching a gauge to see what's happening haha
  6. My first statement to the guy was shouldn't the back end be strapped down....... I have ordered some 110 jets and 115 to try. Along with a turn to close valve for in line with the pitot to give it some adjustability if that's the problem. Dobt think Clutch was slipping as it running lock up. The back end was spinning tho as wasn't tied down.....
  7. Stock carbs, can't remmebr float height :-( Needles in middle.
  8. Soooooo I have been riding the bandito for a while now. I knew it was running rich and it hits a wall at 6-7000rpm. Just replaced all fuel lines and tidied a few things up and though it was time for a dyno run. It was extremely rich!! (Forgot to take pic of page) but was a huge rich spike...... Couldn't do a full run as wouldn't rev out. Just hit a wall. Main jets are 125. 3psi base fuel pressure Pitot is 8mm i/d in line with air flow and pipe from pitot is 7mm id to carbs and f.p.r What would I need to alter to get this richness smoothed out. Jet size smaller?? Restrictor in the pitot tube to restrict pressure? Less base fuel pressure? See video attached for dyno run.
  9. Haha guessing people think they are crap then? i have just put a gsxr 750 SRAD MC on them as they come standard with the 6 pots. bled them up and I now have brakes!! A little better than with the bandit MC but still a decent chunk of lever to pull. I like the feel of them to be honest. Will see how they go when I get out for a ride. Thanks for that info on bleeding them. Have done that now :-).
  10. Well....... looks like I'll be on the hunt for another set of 4 pots then and selling these on........ kinda sucks
  11. I personally feel they work great but just don't like how much I have to pull the lever for them to do anything
  12. It's a bit of both. iv bled them to death. Vacuum bled them forwards and backwards on both calliper. Definitely no air in the system. just seems that the lever comes back a long way before starting to bite.
  13. Well that's annoying. I thought the 6s would be an upgrade and help me stop better. They work really well tho. Just the travel In the leaver is huge. What would remedy the problem as the 4s are being used else where
  14. I have just upgraded my mk1 bandit 4 pots to what I believe to be the 6 pots off a busa. After bleeding them up, my lever is really squishy and come back to the bar. They work great but take to much lever pull to work. i have just fully stripped and cleaned and re-built the callipers as well is this a problem with the master cylinder not being up to the job?? i believe the busa master cylinder is 5/8 like the bandit one. tried putting a 16mm master cylinder on and still the same problem. Can anyone help me to fix this problem please.
