  1. @gray711 looks like a good turnout mate, some tidy stuff. Thanks for sharing.
  2. The Japanese lads are well into clip ones on their classic air cooled bikes ( gs's, gsx's and z's). Makes the arse end of the bike look higher,I personally think they look really cool.
  3. As long as it's in proportion with that fuck off huge headlight it'll work.
  4. I happen to be left handed Tony so I'll have to take up this pastime that you refer to, can you please explain the rules?
  5. You get used to it, as Tony said it's just the way they are. When I had my first one back in the early nineties I thought to myself what the hell have I bought but you don't really notice once you have gloves on.
  6. I called there yesterday as I only live a short distance from Anglesey circuit seen a few oss bikes circulating including Brian. A fantastic turnout by all involved and great weather to greet you all. Thankyou for showing up and being part of the success.
  7. Welcome bud, post a pic for us all to see them help and advice will come along.
  8. I'm with you on that one @bluedog59back I the early 80's about a dozen of us set off from North Wales for Donnington park one Saturday evening to watch an 8hr endurance race the following day, no fucker had a clue where it was but we soon found out that it wasn't in Donnington Shropshire!!! Eventually arrived at our destination around 1 in the morning and looking back it seems that technology has taken the fun out of being totally lost, happy times we had and as a bonus most of us survived those great days.
  9. Managed to get hold of a top cover on its way to me. Thanks to @redgs1000 in the true spirit of oss he has very generously donated one FOC, I do hope he doesn't mind me making this public but I personally feel that great gestures of this nature can't go without a mention. thanks @redgs1000
  10. Great to see that you're getting out on her, you'll get plenty of attention off old timers like us Thought you'd still be under 4ft of snow that far north but not to be. Hope you get to the bottom of the scraping noise and it's not too serious.
  11. @gs7_11 Any updates, have you managed to get out on the roads yet?? BTW I'd keep those allspeeds on if she were mine just for that sound
  12. Why the reluctance to fit the RS36's, if they're doing nowt give em a go that way you'll get the answer either way.
  13. I had a similar issue way back with one of my old EFE's turned out to be the little vent in the tank's fuel cap was blocked so no air could replace the fuel. Not saying that's your issue but I'd try it first just incase.
  14. I get the need for a seal but this seems impossible to separate. On the other hand I've never heard of one springing a leak. Dab of quality silicone would do the trick but good ol' Suzuki wouldn't make money by selling the complete upper case I suppose.
