  1. There's no pins to align. The headstock pivots at the bottom on a very close fitting bush and adjusted using the rose joints. This moves a slide through its housing which is connected to the same mounting axis of the bottom end rose joint. Once the desired angle is achieved you pinch up the two axis pins which clamp it all together. There's zero flex or movement possible. You'd understand more of what i describe if you saw it in person. Hopefully i will have it to use at Pod next Spring.
  2. I've got that Slabby frame on my workbench. It's certainly plenty stiff enough and well engineered. Originally made by NWS as a drag bike.

With bending like that you'd make a great plumber too. I know just how hard it is to get the tube notches right and they look perfect.
  4. I've had this in bits for various reasons for over 12 months now. One job that needed doing was polishing up the swingarm. Yantosh made me this about 5 years ago. Well I've cheated and paid Mark Feltham to do the job and what fantastic results.

Well I certainly got it for a really good price. I've seen folk pay nearly what I did just for a EFE engine. I offered what I thought was right for the engine, frame , swingarm and tank. The rest I consider a bonus. I usually ignore what they ask on Eblag and contact them direct with my offer. I always say I can come straight away with cash. It works for me.
  6. Hello. Yes I know Wayne (Jap) but was told by someone else it was Burnsie sat there. I'm hopefully back on with thdvtebuild sometime soon.
  7. No but would like to source one if you know of one?
  8. Had this only a short while. It's fitted with what seems to be a good, standard EFE 1100 engine. There's a few bits that needed urgent attention, the wire loom for one and the front twin lights have to go! Once these few bits are done I will just use it and hopefully Jacqui will ride it once in a while if we ever want to take out one of my others. Eventually I will be fitting a set of new rs36 flatties and a new (old Skool) rear end with paint job to match. Front forks will be doomed to the junk bin too.
  9. It's going back in the big tube Izax frame.
