Agree with all of the post, especially those two points as they are exactly the reason I went for a draw through. The first/main question is, what do you want to use it for most often?

GSx1100 Dresda Solitaire (I may have had a Clivecident).

Now that it's off the ramp and getting shoved about I can see the Dresda from more natural angles. The RG tail is definitely staying, it really suits the bike IMHO. Still undecided about a Harris style fairing or naked with a big round headlamp. GSX 1100 G for scale. -
That's the order I did the rear wheel work for the Dresda, a month ago. I still haven't sorted the hanger. I keep looking at it and pondering whether it would be simpler/quicker/easier to stick with the hanger I have and get a disc to suit.

You sometimes go onto auto-pilot with stuff like that. Strip it down, check all the plates carefully, see what the springs and back plate are like, check the basket for ridges and don't even glance at the inner. Shit happens, you've found the issue.
-
More? Some would have done. Not sure if I've got one of these but I can have a rummage Monday for you?
-
Bandit 1250 throttle bodies go straight onto the air cooled head using the air cooled rubbers which you just rotate a touch to suit. This is a set on the ET engine in the Dresda. (I was pondering options at the time.)

"Take much" rather than "cost much". As soon as you start dicking about with bikes the bills come thick, large and fast.

I don't doubt it, with stuff like that there's usually one main factor and a host of other bits that contribute or make things worse. Over all though it doesn't seem to take much to get a TL into a serious superbike territory. One of a few bikes I've always fancied but never owned.

It was (almost) entirely down to that rotary damper which when it was worked hard stopped damping.

Hopefully you'll get a few hours in before monsoon season continues.

I think I'd start with getting some miles on it, bed it in and get a few heat cycles through it then see how it is.
-
Good job too, I don't think the shed wall could take much more clutch freeing!
-
Whilst it'd be a dull task, it'd be worth having a look through the specs and/or contacting a supplier to get something of suitable dimensions which could be shortened or have the OD reduced to suit. Such as :- Serdi. Engine Parts UK. Elring.

I've got my fingers crossed that the front discs arrive before it goes to Stafford, otherwise up and down the ramp's going to be fun.
