  1. It’s fiberglass. Aftermarket race fairing. Someone cut a hole for endurance style lighting Is the backup to my 88-90 fairing I will be using on my 7/11 build. Can’t use it without a bracket though so will be on the hunt.
  2. Thanks guys. Thanks for the pics Brian. I was under the impression that since the fairings “interchange” the 91 would fit the 91. Seems there is a significant difference between the 750 and 1100 birdcage. I have not seen many 91 bikes and thought when I saw that little alloy bracket that jacks it up a bit, that was for raising the 1100 fairing to clear the on-top clipons. Now I see your 750 has one. Judging by the fiche, the small brackets are different, having a different part number. The birdcage also has a different part number, but visually is quite different between models. Guess I need to find a 91 750 cage...
  3. I have a fairing, which was believe to be a 91, but I don't think it is... does not fit my 91 1100 bracket anyway... anyone know? water cooled maybe? I would like to find a birdcage so I can use it... U U U
  4. it's a figure of speech at the track... road course. its not a drag bike.
  5. All business. Its about how fast it goes around a corner. That’s what it’s for.
  6. lovely track. lots of walls though....
  7. so this begs the question... which is the best knock-off kit online for a head cooler right now?
  8. Sorry! Disregard! When I search cam link it came up with a million topics that were unrelated... because of the word link. when I put it in quotes it worked! "cam link"...
  9. uh oh.... did i start something?
  10. So a complete low pressure cooler. OK. Thank you. Is the cam link lines worth a look as well?
  11. I have never ridden an oil cooled bike at the track, but am about to do so with my 1109 slingshot. I have seen a lot of extra plumbing in pics of top-notch bikes over the years, and wondering what some recommendations are for additional "cooling" without addition of a cooler. I recently read a comment in another post saying "do not connect cam-link to cam cover or you lose pressure". What are the correct things to do? Is there an easy way to provide more oil flow around my engine? Do I need this for a road-course machine? PICS? TIA
  12. This came off an 91 1100, with a clamped on non-original (Wileyco can). Looks like a first gen Vance and Hines, but I am not sure. I don't remember the way they attached to the mid pipe and can't find specific pics googling. Any one want to take a stab?
  13. if you can find them, I like the oil filter pliers over the banded wrench dealio...
  14. +1 for POR15. Used it in several tanks. Had caswell fail. I would solder the holes first and then coat. Then forget about it forever...
  15. i did not know this... good to know. I am about to fit some RS38s to a 1052 myself.
