HELP REMOVING SRAD FRONT WHEEL
Madb replied to NickGP's topic in Water Cooled, V-Twins, Singles and 2-strokes
that is what ya need @NickGP. Just make sure you have un done the pinch bolts on the right leg , Keep the left leg pinch bolts tight and you will be good. After you have removed the spindle, undo the left pinch bolts and remove the thread spacer from the left leg. If you are removing the wheel from the forks, Don't forget to remove your brake callipers. Re-assemble in reverse. When tightening the pinch bolts up again, Do just pinch them up. -

Exhaust systems 750w 1995
Madb replied to ZenZeypher's topic in Water Cooled, V-Twins, Singles and 2-strokes
Srads won't fit. scrub off list. K1 1000 ti will fit with a bit heat. Might hang low for yer needs. cheap to buy too. Rf900 might fit, not tried. Don't know about bandits.. -
Are you are referring to this white bike? It's not a wn/wp. It's a wr/ws. assuming you are reffering to this bike, then srad and early k1 750 will fit, tho you may need to adjust for wheel fitment/alignment if you use later wheels. From memory I think the wheel spindles are different sizes to your og wheel.

GSXR 1100 W ( GU 75 E )
Madb replied to stefan's topic in Water Cooled, V-Twins, Singles and 2-strokes
Turbo, never if then just a compressor, because it pushes up nicely and linearly. I've been on the lookout for a Volumex charger from the Fiat 124. But these things cost a paltry Mammon fixed Lovely bike. Welcome. -
As everyone has said, You should run them in Series as you need to load them coils up. Ideally, you will want the resistance to be between 3-5 ohms, If you can't get 3-5 ohms with a pair in series, you'll need to add a high wattage resistor in line. (40-50 watt), you can heat sink it to the frame. Not enough resistance will give a poor spark, plus other problems.

Can always add them back from a bottle, Maybe? Do you what additives are removed?

If ya like alcohol Free Petrol, Buy a 5 gallon container. Fill with 4.5 gallons of petrol and add 2 litres (4 pints) of water. shake really well. Leave for a half a day. the water will absorb the alcohol ( there will be a small separate layer, the 2 titres of water plus the alcohol) and leave ya with just clean petrol. If you buy the container with a tap it makes it easier to drain off.

Closer look at your frame, it seems you have the 94/95 model. banana arm wont fit easily as your frame has a 25mm shaft, banana arms are 20mm. If you want newer forks from a gsxr, go for the 1000's , 750's will be too short. Shorter dog bones (2mm) will put more weight bias on the front for a better feeling, tho everyone likes the bike set up different. I have found the 5 speed box of the 900 to be fine with the extra torque One tooth less on front on mine. 750's needed that extra gear. they feel like a 2 stoke compared to the 900. As for the frame. the wn/wp are not that stiff. I could feel it twist at higher speeds changing direction. That extra brace on the later 94/95 bikes probably makes a noticeable difference. (reminds me of the seventies bikes! Oh them memories.)

If it was running then go for it but in bits for that price? Good bikes but I would look else where, unless you can knock the price down, As Dezza has said, could be a hole to throw money in if parts are missing.

GSXR-W Fiberglass Review
Madb replied to TJS's topic in Water Cooled, V-Twins, Singles and 2-strokes
Suzy not impressed by that wobbly end. Needs to be a lot stiffer then that! Tsk -
If they measure 50mm top 54 at the bottom then they should fit. Can't be sure the 750 k1 stem will be long enough . What Bike you trying to fit them in. Length of forks need to be checked as well. Too short and you will have front wheel clearance issues.

'95 GSXR 750 gets PFM Rotors and Nissin 6 Pistons
Madb replied to TJS's topic in Water Cooled, V-Twins, Singles and 2-strokes
Nah, No mis-communication. What you pay state side in dollars we pay in £ over here in the UK. 2k for up an upgrade for complete kit is the price of a complete bike here with spare change. Not knocking the Quality, Just hard to justify, when A complete front end off a newer K model will be enough for most needs. Forks, brakes, wheel ,etc. Still love to have them PFM kit. -
