The "Haiku GSX-RW engine swap" by FastCat

What exactly is haiku?

Haiku is Japanese-poetry.
It's obscure and not very popular outside of Japanese-culture.
It's based on syllabic rythm instead of rhyme.

The form is:
... three lines, first line is
... 5 syllables second line
... is 7 and last line is
... 5 syllables again.

And to think this article was made to make OTHER people look silly!
Swapping engines between GSX-RW models is so easy it can be described in eight small haiku poems...
six-eleven or
seven-eleven - both are
described in haiku:

six-hundred too slow?
seven-fifty not better?
ELEVEN HUNDRED!

old out, in with new.
airbox must go, plastic too.
clean up when finished.

It's a direct-swap,
with only three exceptions.
I will describe them:

clutch needs hydraulics
rev-limiter is too high
and add oil-cooler

Dremel is best way
for plastic that will not fit
to make it bolt up.

Streetfighters don't need
to worry about plastic,
light weight is the key!

for steering-damper
grind OEM mount to fit
around valve-cover
