December 31st7/11 Boulevard

I just managed to squeeze some updates into this year.
They are Bazza's GSXR750H/1127 and Terry's monster 1340cc Gixxer in a 92 750 frame.

December 27thRN(S)

We now have our very own webserver, so it's time to move.
Only Robby thought it was a much better idea to spend the coming weeks on some sunny island on the other side of the globe ;-/

On the sunny side of things there are a lot of projects going on at the moment, been getting a lot of feedback lately so we'll be writing some nice articles again in January!

So all I can do for now is wish you all a lot of fun from your bike in 2001! HAPPY NEWYEAR!

November 11th

7/11 Boulevard

Mr.7/11 likes playing computer games when it's too cold to work in the garage, and his favourite game is GP500. Now he has converted his own bike and leathers for use in the game.
Get it at the download page.

RN(S)

We're on our new server now but not very happy with it, as the subdomains aren't working yet (ie. Bral's Gixxer Garage).

In the meantime the
RN(S) staff has got bitten by the SuperMotard bug. Airhead has made a beautiful collection of pictures he made at a SuperMotard event in Holland, and if you klick the image on the left you are warped to a site with THE bike of the year... forget the GSX-R1000 or the MV Agusta F4... this thing is pure sex on wheels (anybody want to buy a barely used 7/11, I'm hot for it).

While you're in the mood you may also want to visit http://www.supermotech.co.uk and http://www.supermoto.de

Sept 7thRN(S)

Update of the month ;-/
Nothing is happening because we're so busy. We're in the progress of transferring to a new server with 250MB disk space.
In the mean time Mr.7/11 is working on Airheads' GSX-R750G which now has GSX-R750M running gear and engine. Mischa is going to prepare a very special engine for him.
Mr.7/11 has bought an 1979 GS550 which will be equipped with a GSX-R750 engine.
Oh yeah... We've also killed the mailing list.

July 23th7/11 BoulevardAn update from Mr.7/11's vacation...
Just back from my hometown Flushing, where I attended a bike show covering everything from Harleys to Classic bikes to Japanese bikes. I won first price in that latest category consisting of a trophy and 500 Dutch guilders. I celebrated with some "King Airhead"-style burnouts so an easy guess where I'll have to spend the price money on ;-)
July 7th7/11 BoulevardIf you asked me what was the biggest performance upgrade I did until now you'd be surprised by the answer... my new Mikuni RS 36's are great but my Yamaha One-Piece Calipers are truly amazing!!!
July 1st7/11 BoulevardAs the 7/11 Boulevard got bigger and bigger it also became harder to find the info you wanted. So now I've created a whole new index page which will make the site much easier to access.
July 1st7/11 BoulevardFor those who wonder what's the use of building a 7/11 in the year 2000... check out these specs of Mr.7/11's bike;
The same wet weight (with full tank of fuel) as a Yamaha R6, 6bhp more horsepower and 10lb-ft more torque than a R1 (specs taken from Performance Bikes Magazine).
June 29thRN(S)Robby Nitroz' Fireblade is for sale, so if you live in Holland this is your chance to own a legendary bike that's allready famous. He wants HFL.10500 for it or part exchange with a crash-damaged R6. Mail Robby if you're interested and want some details.
June 22nd7/11 Boulevard

Mr.7/11 has published his article about his long weekend in the UK, where he put on his 38mm Mikuni RS flatslides and got it tuned on HM Racing's dyno.

What we still have in store for you;
- full pictures of Dave's GSX-R884 and Tony's Hornet
- detailed article on all the tuning stages of Mr.7/11's bike
- Evo 2000 with Upperton head and 39mm Keihins
- Mr.7/11's bike gets Nitrous fitted!

June 21stRN(S)Hope you liked our new opening screen!
June 18thRN(S)We have tried it for over a year but the RN(S) forum just would not take off like we would have liked it, so we killed it and reverted back to the good old 7/11 forum with it's easy to use interface. So now there are two ways to get rid of those nagging questions that keep you awake at night... the RN(S) mailing list and the 7/11 forum.
June 14th7/11 BoulevardJust got back from my stay with Sam in England...
I have published the dyno sheets, courtesy of Dave from HM Racing and some pictures I made after coming back. The whole story will follow soon.
June 6thRN(S)Mr.7/11 has added words to his pictures of the Streetfightershow to keep you amused (unless you are mentioned ofcourse) while the images are loading. Not suitable for people of young age.
June 4thRN(S)First pictures from the KicXstart Streetfightershow!
June 2ndRN(S)

IT'S PARTY TIME!
Today Mr.7/11 rode his bike for the first time, see what it looks like on this page.
And in two days time we are celebrating our first anniversary at the KicXstart StreetFighter show!

May 31stRN(S)

Nowadays company takeovers are very popular, so it was to be expected that the biggest name in streetfighters was going to do it's share. The new URL for Dr. Bral's Gixxer Garage is http://gixxergarage.robbynitroz.nl
Who will be next? ;-)

May 3rd7/11 BoulevardMr.7/11 is cleaning up his garage, so if you want some cheap GSX-R750G parts this is your chance.
April 22nd7/11 BoulevardNews from Mr.7/11's garage...
You can view an updated revision history of his GSX-R7/11F here.
April 13thRN(S)

Are we dead? Ofcourse not!...
We've been getting a lot of mail/messages from worried people about the lack of updates.
No excuses from us... ...well okay here are a few...
Robby is very busy rebuilding his house and Mr.7/11 is nearing the closing stages of rebuilding his bike and spending every minute in his garage when not at work or asleep... and that's the truth! The bike and the house should be ready in June after we will be back to full strength. In the meantime make sure you have subscribed to the mailing list. Thanks to all who support us... we won't let you down!

April 12th7/11 Boulevard

We have decided which design won the paintjob contest!
Go here for the result

March 11thRN(S)If you have ever bought a copy of Streetfighters magazine you know about the Streetfighter Straightliners Challenge drag races in the UK. They now have an official website.
March 11thRN(S)Stephen is a fan. And so his RVF400R carries one of our limited edition RN(S) stickers on the front mudguard. We love it!
March 8thRN(S)So you have won the lottery and are sitting in the garage on your bike with a large wad of money in one hand, a trick parts catalogue in the other and a big bulge in your pants. Read this article first before making some serious mistakes!
March 5th7/11 BoulevardDuring a day of heavy snowfall I had the time to finish the article about fitting CBR600 wheels to a GSX-R750G.
March 4th7/11 BoulevardThe page with wheel specs has been updated with -who could have thought I would sink that low- CBR600 wheels. I'm working on the page with all details about the conversion.
March 3rdRN(S)A few weeks ago I subscribed to Peter Parker's GSX-R mailing list and liked the system of a mailing list very much. But I felt a bit out of place so I decided to create our own mailing list specially for subjects regarding Streetfighters and Suzuki 7/11's. It's like having a forum in your mailbox with all the advantages of normal e-mail like off-line editing. Join now!
February 29thRN(S)Ofcourse every streetfightin' maniac has the same problem... how to carry your golf clubs with you. This website has the answer.
And when your not teeing off with the lads on Sunday you can always use it to carry your baseball bat or light bazooka ;-)

February 27th7/11 Boulevard I promised you an update on the status of rebuilding my 7/11 today which you wil certainly get, but while I have started rewriting the project pages you will have to do with viewing the pictures by clicking this link.
February 23rd7/11 BoulevardTwo new articles about tuning GSX-R750's and GSX-R1100's.
Originally published in 1995 by Superbike magazine, copied by R-House and pasted by Mr.7/11 (if I don't get sued now I don't know what is becoming of this world)
February 22nd7/11 Boulevard

Gavin Davidson has earned himself his own little project page by fitting some 17" running gear to his good ol' GSX-R750G (nothing to do with the bottle of Scotland's finest whisky he gave me ofcourse).

Also, this weekend you will probably be able to get a glance at Mr.7/11's new 17" wheels.

February 17th7/11 Boulevard

Yesterday I received an e-mail from Marc Salvisberg, who is the managing director of Factory Pro Tuning. He added a lot of good info to his article about the power jets on Suzuki carbs. He also gives his opinion on float bowl tubes. Read it all here.

We have also rearranged the links page a bit.

RN(S)

Good news for all Dutch fighterpilots!
From the 1st of February (that's two days ago) you can get new license plates following new regulations which are 210x143mm small. The font size is 50mm. Follow this link to read more about it. All bikes need to carry these plates before 1 Feb. 2003.
No use for Mr.7/11 because he has already made his own design which is even smaller!

January 28th7/11 BoulevardWhat should become a pleasant story about modifying your GSX-R suddenly turns into an Oscar winning horror story!
Evo 2000 - Episode 2
Also a must read if you want to know more more water-cooled GSX-R engines into early model frames. Brace yourselves!
January 25th7/11 BoulevardAfter a very long time of silence Sandro Serafini has returned.
Have a look what he's up to now!
January 20th7/11 BoulevardI need help.
While going trough the pages of dutch bike magazine "KicXstart" I came across a cartoon called "ragracers" including a bike that seems a bit familiar somehow...
Have a look at the pictures and see if you get the same feeling ;-)
January 16th7/11 Boulevard

A BIG THANK YOU to all the guys that are revving the forum up to speed again. The posted articles show clearly what enthousiasts GSX-R owners are... it's all about exchanging heads, cranks, gearboxes etc. Radical!
I think I will have to pay more attention to engine tuning this year as believe this is where many are interested in.
But I'm going to need help from some you die-hards because engine work is not really my piece of cake!!!
Mail me!

I have been collecting some nice articles for you to read...

First Jasper from R-House has come up with two very good articles about tuning the GSX-R750 and GSX-R1100.
He also has an article about Yoshimura's 7/11 the "Tornado", very nice stuff indeed.

Roger from Sweden has a good article about fitting later model wheels on his site. Even though it's in Swedish I found some very useful info on this page but I must warn you that you really shouldn't use his method of changing the position of the calipers to make up for bigger disc sizes if you value your own life!
I have put the most important info (the tables) here for those who can't decipher it.

7/11 Boulevard

I have written a very interesting article for you lot,
it's called Journey to the center of Mikuni's BST38SS carbs
which covers power jets and breather tubes.

Also I've got some very nasty pics of the Honda equivalent of a 7/11 if ever there is one here and here. We will publish the article about Ruud's CBR6/9 soon.

btw. I've seen some people are starting to visit the new RN(S) 7/11 forum so you may want to visit it if you haven't been there in a while.
