Project SRAD finished Posted Wednesday, September 20, 2006 by Mr.7/11
The last two months I dedicated most of my time to building an SRAD nuskool fighter together with Tinie (pronounced "Teenie", not "Tiny") from BikePenR.NL.
SRADs aren't my thing, but I was in the jury for Street or Track a couple of years in succession where I saw a lot of great nuskool fighters based on firebl*des and such and wondered why no-one would do the same based on a Suzuki. In fact I have never seen a really nice SRAD streetfighter made me wonder if it could be done at all. So together with Tinie we put down a concept and started building in our quest to build the best looking SRAD streetfighter up to now. During the design I used feedback from OSS members to judge the general opinion and now the bike is done, and to say I'm very pleased with the result is an understatement.

Running behind... Posted Tuesday, September 19, 2006 by Mr.7/11
The last few weeks have been very hectic... extremely busy at work, working on the BikePenR SRAD, making a start with knarF's GS1000 and tracing parts, keeping track of donations, the stand at Streetfighterday, Fighterama coming up...

Anyway there's plenty updates coming up...
- the Katana.project got an engine bolt kit from Postma Motoren, nitrous bottle brake reservoirs by bones and Fred gave me an EFE head for my birthday!
- support for knarF's GS1000 is overwhelming with parts and donations coming over from all over the world.
- BikePenR's SRAD is finished so now the GS1000 is on the "Project workbench".
- Streetfighterday was a spectacle like never before, with great projects on show, our turbo-nutters giving a great show on the dyno and some emotional moments at knarF's shrine.

Give me some time to play catch-up ;-)

GSXR 20th/21st Birthday at Santa Pod Posted Monday, September 18, 2006 by PerversePolisher
Another excellent weekend for OldSkoolSUZUKI's ever-reliable UK contingent. Almost every bike on our stand ended up in the main show - leaving us with only 4 bikes on the stand whilst the show was going on. There was lots of interest and I'm sure there will be a few new members visiting the site over the next few weeks. A massive thanks to everyone who turned up to show their support and help out with the stand.
Please send me any pictures you have and I'll add them into the gallery

Turbo Information Available Posted Friday, September 8, 2006 by PerversePolisher
Site member Siggi has provided us with articles and useful turbo information for those of you who just need that little bit extra from your bikes. Don't worry that some of it is from an aircraft magazine, the information contained is applicable to most uses of a turbo.
PDF files and GIF images are available to download from PP's Pages under the title "Siggi's Turbo Data"

Bike of the Month - September 2006 Posted Friday, September 8, 2006 by Mr.7/11
This month's bike belongs to Suzuki-freak. The pic shown here doesn't do it justice (though it does give an unobstructed view to the OSS sticker) but if you want to view it in it's full glory buy this month's Streetfighters magazine.

.infoBoard confirmation e-mails Posted Monday, September 4, 2006 by Mr.7/11
Some people think they don't get a confirmation e-mail when they register on the .infoBoard. Actually they do but sometimes it gets swallowed by their spam filter that is set too agressively.
Or they have an AOL e-mail account and AOL just plain sucks!
