Bike of the Month - March 2004 Posted Thursday, March 25, 2004 by Mr.7/11
Since I put the new Owners Gallery online some very sexy bikes have been uploaded by .infoBoard members.
From now on each month I will pick one of my favourites and give them the honourable title of "OldSkoolSUZUKI.info Bike of the Month". Make sure you've got a nice and sharp picture of your bike on there.
This month I picked Samurajen's 1428cc Swedish Katana.

First bits of TRIK Katana bodywork arrived Posted Friday, March 12, 2004 by Mr.7/11
Yesterday the first bits of Katana bodywork made by Triky arrived, and it's truely a work of art!
The side-panels have been covered with carbon fibre, on top of that is a thick layer of transparant gelcoat with red clouds that has the carbon shining trough. When looking even closer (not visible on the pictures) you suddenly notice lots of small sparkly bits which kind of gives the impession like you're into space watching a red nebula (my nine-year old kid thinks the bike looks like it's covered in blood... does anyone know a good excorcist?).
The attention to detail is fanstastic, Triky really outdone himself on this. Can't wait to see the rest of it!

The Katana.project is heating up! Posted Saturday, March 6, 2004 by Mr.7/11
After a short break, getting the 7/11 ready for the new season, the attention is back to the Katana again. Last friday I picked up a rear wheel which measures a whoppin' 8" wide! It doesn't sound much, only one inch wider on each side than a 6-incher, but it sure looks huge!
Looking at the picture you probably allready guessed it's a car wheel, and it's going to take some creativity to bolt a bike-worthy hub incl. a cush drive onto it.

In the meantime Triky has given me some hints on how the bodywork will look... It involves engraved carbon and a mixture of red and white gooey substances so it's either going to be mega-trick or mega-sick...
I'll keep you posted.
