GJG's Turbo EFE update #1 Posted Sunday, December 12, 2004 by Mr.7/11
It's been a while since we heard of GJG and his turbo project bike.
I ran into him at Street or Track and he handed a CD over to me containing a mouth-watering article on all the recent updates. Turns out he has set himself the ridiculous goal of going into competition with it next season! Well if he makes it in time we'll be there to cheer him on that's for sure.
Discuss the return of GJG here.

Sprintek billet streetfighter yokes Posted Friday, December 3, 2004 by Mr.7/11
Steve "stevieboy" Rigby of Sprintek did some lovely billet yokes for the Katana.project.
He used to do a lot of one-off stuff in the past (like on some of Dodge's bikes) but nowadays he's trying to concentrate on standard products, which is fine by us because inside the Suzuki range everything fits everything anyway. For instance the yokes Steve did for my Kat are intended for a GSX-R750L, but are a straight fit to the Katana (In combination with USD forks ofcourse).
He can do them with the pinch bolts on the in- or outside, mount the ignition barrel at no extra and charge.
Mere mortals pay £545 plus postage for standard designs and £675 for one-offs, but registered OSS-members that have hatched out of their egg get a £50 discount on the yokes and 10% on all other stuff like his lovely engine cases.
Anyway, let's dribble all over them, and discuss them when we're out of saliva.

This Katana has been stolen! Posted Thursday, December 2, 2004 by Mr.7/11
Whoever can be so stupid to steal a bike this unique is beyond me :-/
If you've seen it in the last couple of days around derbyshire (UK) report it here.

GSX oil-cooler installation by Michael Fischer Posted Wednesday, December 1, 2004 by Mr.7/11
Even today, (maybe especially nowadays because because few people know the ins and outs of these engines anymore and oil-cooler kits don't come with proper instructions) there are a lot of GSX1100's riding around with faulty oil-cooler installations (mostly noticable by the cooler not getting hot). Mike has written an excellent guide to installing an oil-cooler on your GSX and given us permission to publish it here .
