PDF Paints PP's 7/11 Posted Wednesday, November 16, 2005 by PerversePolisher
Paul at PDF Designs has come up with a stunning paint scheme for my project 7/11. All I asked for was an urban camoflage similar to the site's design that was created by Mr. 7/11 when this site was formed.

Bike of the Month - November 2005 Posted Monday, November 14, 2005 by Mr.7/11
For the first time in the history of OSS BotM somebody re-enters the podium with a second creation. In the case of Rotty of J&W Motorcycles that ain't a surprise as he doesn't spend all his days changing oil on customer bikes anymore, but from now on is focussing his business on churning out high-level specials. If they're half as good as his previous two bikes he will surely succeed!

Katana.project status update - Fall 2005 Posted Saturday, November 12, 2005 by Mr.7/11
As allways before a big show it's a frantic race to get as much as possible details done in time, with parts getting delivered 5 minutes before loading everything up.
So a lot of stuff has been done lately... TKT sprockets made the offset chainset, Tinie from BikePenR surprised me with a very trick one-off stand, the NosWizard solenoids are into place and the lengthened and lowered seat from J&W Motorcycles arrived just in time.
All these updates will be featured in dedicated articles ofcourse, but right now I need to focus all attention to my career so that could take some time.
Anyway here's some pictures of the latest standings before I start disassembling the bike again. Discuss the Katana.project here
btw. Triky if you're reading this I've put out a contract on you :-( and the only thing that can stop the hitman is a carbon fibre katana fairing ;-)
Stratosphere... the new generation Katana? Posted Friday, November 11, 2005 by Mr.7/11
A while ago Suzuki launched the Stratosphere concept bike, which should make the lovers of oldskool musclebike owners' hearts beat faster with it's in-line 1100cc 6-cylinder engine pushing out approx. 180 horses and "katana-esque styling".
However they seem to have overlooked one critical design feature that made the Katana stand out... It was one of the first bikes where the rider would sit inside "the bike", tightly wedged between the fuel-tank and the pillion seat. This is where the stratosphere designers flawed tremendously.
When I look at pictures of the Stratosphere I see myself perched on top of the bike struggling to stay on behind that small screen as those six cylinders scream towards the redline in top gear, whereas on the katana I feel one with the machine... ready to hit warp speed. Ofcourse us Katana-owners know a un-modified Kat goes into a deadly weave above 100mph but that's not the issue ;-)
As far as I'm concerned it's back to the drawingboard.
