And another series of pictures from Sharpy, this time some rather gross pictures of the XR69's internal organs. Hope you haven't had lunch yet ;-)

Sharpy sent us some nostalgic pictures taken in 1982 and 1983 at Surfers Paradise in Australia.
When oldskool was just plain old ;-)

Streetfighters magazine feature of Mr.7/11's bike Posted Sunday, February 27, 2005 by Mr.7/11
There's lots of reasons to buy this month's Streetfighters magazine (nr.134), for instance a feature on Dave's KatanR and other delicious big Suzuki fours, but not because my bike is in there because I've got the "behind the scenes" pictures, the original hi-res photos and the full article available here.

Continental Road Attack tyres Posted Tuesday, February 22, 2005 by Mr.7/11
I've allways liked Continental tyres. I used to have the TKV11/12 series on my bikes years back and on my mountain bike I have Conti Vertical Protection knobbies. Conti allways has given people very good value for money but lately been overshadowed by the competitions sticky rubber.
But the all new Conti Road Attack should change this and tests from German magazines have allready proven it to be a great performer, especially in the wet, which is a great thing for me as I'm one of those pervs that actually like riding in rain.
The tyres are provided by our very own parts pimp Rich who recently started his own company BikeStuff (banner on the right) who I'd hereby like to thank for helping my 7/11 back on the road. Only two workdays between the order in the UK and delivery on my doorstep in the Netherlands. Bring on springtime! :-)

Street or Track Dyno-Shootout Posted Monday, February 21, 2005 by Mr.7/11
Well finally I've had the time to finish the report of the Dyno-Shootout held at last year's Street or Track. But now all the pictures, movies and hard data are on-line.

HEL oil cooler for the Katana.project Posted Sunday, February 20, 2005 by Mr.7/11
I've had this oil-cooler in my posession for quite some time now (received it just in time for Street or Track) but because I had some questions about fitment I was waiting for a response from HEL's Simon Lane.
Three months have past and I've decided to get on with it and maybe get a reaction afterwards.

Homemade Chain Buffer Posted Thursday, February 10, 2005 by Mr.7/11
€25 and 4 weeks delivery? The GSX-R is celebrating it's 25th anniversary and instead of continuing support for our beloved cultbike they give us a new bike with a retro paintjob :-(
Anyway less than two hours of work and some scrap material and we're sorted!

Violated by OSS! Posted Tuesday, February 8, 2005 by Mr.7/11
The infamous Stick your Stickers thread is wreaking havoc amongst britain's main bike events. This month's prime victim was Steve Conway Racing of whom a sponsor was covered in eternal darkness by an OSS Sticker.
Anyway if you want your bike shining like a dog's knob in the moonlight like Steve's bike don't bother PP anymore but call AJ POLISHING (07799 096824)

Bike of the Month - February 2005 Posted Tuesday, February 1, 2005 by Mr.7/11
Finally, Bones' bug-eyed Harris Magnum 2 GSX-R has made Bike of the Month. Though it didn't meet the full requirements of gracing the pages of Streetfighters magazine INCLUDING an OSS-sticker on the bike ;-) Bones described the spirit of OSS perfectly with the words "Thanks to oldskoolsuzuki.info for the fun"... which is what we're here for in the first place, Having fun and pleasure from our bikes.
